Instructions: Start pepper seeds 6-8 weeks before you plan to plant them outside. Pepper seeds need temperatures around 70-80ºF to germinate. Peppers germinate best in warm soil so gentle bottom heat may be helpful until seedlings emerge. Wait to transplant outdoors until soil is warm.
