It all started with a journey. Pamut owner Kat Williford first visited Budapest in 2011 and fell in love with the city and the people. She returned to Budapest as much as she could and, two years after her first visit, she was able to make the city her permanent home. Kat immersed herself in the sustainable and eco friendly creative scene in Hungary. When she moved back home to Raleigh, she wanted to continue creating a sustainable brand centered around beautiful, natural grown clothing.
Kat believes that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice style for ethics. Each garment is made by hand in Raleigh using only 100% organic or sustainable cotton. Manufacturing clothes locally gives Pamut the ability to craft cool, high quality garments in small batches.
